As the healthcare industry barrels ahead in innovation and technological advancement, one very human corner of the system continues to lag behind. Communication in the field of healthcare is almost paradoxical, as it is critical to the quality of patient outcomes, while also being prone to disarray.

The purpose of Communicare is to fulfill the need for better tools designed specifically to streamline care provider communication. Building such a comprehensive product in the remote-work era posed its own unique advantages, but not without a few challenges as well. Our team worked hard to implement and utilize effective communication channels inside of our own company. Having a small yet deeply multidisciplinary team working across different time zones forced us to constantly reflect on what effective communication tools look like, and how they can adapt to a team’s specific needs.

We have worked hard to take these experiences and tether them to our own design process. Our goal for Communicare was to build the most efficient, effective, and adaptable healthtech communications platform possible. Our ambitions keep pushing us beyond the field of conventional thinking and archetypal engineering.
